I started out doing a lot of print work and commercial modeling, and then I slowly started getting more into fashion modeling. I did my first runway show in 2013 and I’ve been doing it ever since.

 

What’s your favorite thing about being a model?

 

I love the creative process of modeling. I love working with amazing photographers, stylists, and makeup artists to create beautiful images. And I also love the feeling of empowerment that comes with being a model.

 

I think it’s important for women to see themselves represented in the media in a positive light. And as a plus-size model, I feel like I’m helping to break down barriers and challenge stereotypes.

 

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

 

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to just be myself. I think it’s so important to stay true to who you are, both personally and professionally.
